Napoleon
I have just been reading about Napoleon. This is not the man who was born in Corsica, invaded Russia, and spent his remaining days in St. Helena. This Napoleon lived in France, it is true, and had a large following; but he never saw Russia or St. Helena. This is a different Napoleon.
I have just been reading about Jesus as pictured by the Modernists. This Jesus was not
born of a Virgin; he did not satisfy the justice
of his father by his death; and he did not rise
from the tomb. He did, of course, live in
Palestine and gained quite a few disciples. This
is a different Jesus; and, I must say, he does
not seem very important to me.
