MORE ON THE CONFESSION
The main motivation of the Confession of 1967 seems to be to
get rid of the Bible. If the Bible is accepted as erroneous, the other doctrines
it contains will disappear automatically. For example, if God has given us our doctrinal
information, then Justification is important. But if the doctrine depends mostly
on the Minutes of the General Assembly, who but the ecclesiastical politicians will
be interested in it?
